If you want to get the SSL certificate for your website, then definitely you need to generate the CSR request. So what is CSR…? A CSR or Certificate Signing request is an encoded block of text, and you can provide the CSR to the Certificate Authority when applying for an SSL certificate.
I am going to explain how to generate the CSR certificate form WHM.
Step 1: Log in with your WHM account.
Step 3. Provide the contact information listed below and hit the create button (I am using the XYZ as a dummy domain. You can add your domain name).
- When complete, email me the certificate, key, and CSR.(not required)
- Email Address: (if you checked the above option is needed)
- Key Size:
- Domains: xyz.com
- Company Name:
- Company Division:
- Email: email@example.com
- Passphrase: E-commerce
Step 4: Copy the code from Signing Request: and provide this code to your SSL provider.
